Fana Ads ("Fana", "we") operates a marketplace that connects advertisers with Telegram channel owners ("publishers") in Ethiopia. Advertisers book ad placements on listed channels; Fana holds the payment in escrow and releases it to the publisher after the placement is verified to have stayed live for the agreed period (currently 24 hours). Fana is a technology intermediary, not the author of channel content or of advertisements.
You register and use Fana through your Telegram account via our bot. You are responsible for activity performed through your Telegram account. You must be legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction. One person may not operate multiple accounts to abuse referral or promotional programs.
Deposits are made by transferring funds to the platform accounts shown at deposit time (e.g. Telebirr or CBE) and submitting your payment receipt. Deposits are credited after verification — usually within hours, but manual review can take longer. Your wallet balance is not a bank account and earns no interest. Withdrawals are subject to the fee schedule shown before you confirm a withdrawal. We may reverse credits resulting from fraudulent, duplicate, or altered receipts.
When a campaign is booked, the price is locked in escrow. If the publisher rejects the placement or fails to post, the escrowed amount is returned to the advertiser. If a published post is deleted before the end of the placement window, the advertiser is refunded. If the post stays live for the full window, the publisher is paid. Disputes can be raised from the campaign screen and are reviewed by our team; our decision on escrow release is final within the platform.
Fana charges a platform service fee on campaign bookings (added on top of the publisher's listed price) and a fee on withdrawals. Current percentages are always displayed in the bot and on the pricing section of this site before you commit to a transaction. Fees may change; changes apply only to future transactions.
Advertisements must be legal in Ethiopia, must not be misleading, and must not promote prohibited goods or services (including weapons, illegal drugs, or scams/financial fraud). Publishers may reject any ad. We may remove listings, cancel campaigns, and ban accounts that break these rules.
Channel statistics shown on Fana (subscribers, views, engagement) are collected automatically and provided in good faith, but we do not guarantee any number of views, clicks, or sales from any placement. Escrow protects that a post was published and stayed live — not any commercial outcome.
We may suspend or ban accounts for fraud, receipt forgery, referral abuse, prohibited content, or behavior that harms the platform or its users. On termination, legitimate wallet balances remain withdrawable unless they are the proceeds of fraud or are frozen pending investigation or by legal requirement.
Fana is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid to Fana for the transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for Telegram outages, bank or mobile-money processing delays, or content posted by advertisers or publishers.
